Gotee/Capitol Records’ band Relient K has struck gold with their 2003 release Two Lefts Don’t Make A Right… But Three Do (Gotee). The album, released on March 11th, 2003, has been officially certified gold status by the RIAA, signifying sales over the 500,000 mark. Two Lefts Don’t Make A Right… debuted at #38 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart, garnered a Grammy nod as well as a Dove Award for “Modern Rock Album Of The Year,” and received a 4-star (out of 5) review from Alternative Press. Relient K, a power-punk rock band from Canton, OH, has also heralded a bevy of success with their latest studio album Mmhmm, which sold an an impressive 51,473 albums sold first week out, nearly doubling their street week numbers of the last album Two Lefts Don’t Make A Right… But Three Do. These first week sales numbers landed Relient K at #15 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart. Throughout their career, the band has seen amazing momentum in street week sales with their very first album scanning 900 units, their second release scanning 9,000, the third album scanning 30,000, and culminating in the 51,473 albums sold on their latest mmhmm release. Relient K holds the title of the #1 ranked alternative rock band in the CBA marketplace. The band, who is on the road an average of 150-200 dates a year, is just off the road from headlining a 18-city nationwide tour with special guests Mae and Name Taken. (from LB Public Relations)
